How to organize your jewellery? …try these easy DIY ideas.

Hey Everybody,

I don’t know what it is about the New Year but in January I am always in organization mode. At the moment my jewellery situation is a mess. Do you love jewellery? If you have loads of it and are wondering how to organize your jewellery, try these easy DIY ideas to keep you sorted throughout the year.

Now the problem I face is that I buy Jewellery and then it starts to look like this and then I can’t find the earrings that I am looking for. Or sometimes I can find only one of them. So to change that, I wanted it neatly displayed so that I can pick out the pieces I want and find exactly what I am looking for. So here goes.

IDEA NO: 1)

All you need is a thermocol sheet I measured this space I wanted to organize and cut the sheet accordingly. You can do so too depending on the size you prefer.

Then I carefully slid it in place and it fit in snugly. Due to the soft, texture of the thermocol it is very easy to hang up the earrings. It worked well with the stud earrings too.

For those of you who have chains and bracelets using these soft board pins can do the trick in organizing those. I gave away the jewellery I did not need as that is the only way one can truly get organized.  It’s a lovely feeling to go from clutter to calm.

IDEA NO: 2)

Just in case you can’t get your hands on to thermocol, you can use any material like this net. I cut a strip of it and stuck the ends of it with tape. I stuck it on to the inside of my cupboard door and added a few strips of tape to make it more secure.

Here is how that looks. However this may not take the weight of very heavy earrings. No issues of weight with the first idea.

Hope you like these simple DIY ideas and may the question how to organise your jewellery never bother you again?  Which idea did you like? Until next time, wishing you all happiness and glee!

Grace.
